Terms & Conditions

Here at Dine4guest our talented team of chefs and servers pride themselves on being able to provide exceptional dining experiences. From your first enquiry to the final farewell at the end of your event we will be there to ensure no questions are left unanswered. We are fully on hand to support your vision for the perfect celebration.

On securing your booking with deposit you are agreeing to our terms and conditions.

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all guest bookings with Dine4Guest, a private dining service offering in-home chef experiences. By booking with Dine4Guest, you agree to be bound by the following Terms.

1. Definitions
   •    “Guest”: The person making the booking.
   •    “Chef”: The culinary professional assigned to deliver the in-home dining experience.
   •    “Booking”: A confirmed reservation with Dine4Guest.
   •    “Event”: The scheduled private dining service.
   •    “Services”: All food preparation, cooking, service, and agreed-upon extras provided by the Chef.
   •    “Add-ons”: Optional extras requested by the Guest, including but not limited to wine pairings, tableware hire, cocktail service, or serving staff.

2. Booking & Confirmation
   •   Bookings are made via our website, email, or phone and are subject to availability.
   •   A deposit of 25% (as advised at time of booking) is required to secure. 

   •   Full balance is due 7 days prior to the Event.

        Allowing 2 days to settle, if we happen to reach 5 days prior to the event  without securing the funds this may result in                                                      cancelation of booking with non refundable deposit
   •   Bookings are not confirmed until a confirmation email is sent by Dine4Guest.
   •   All prices are in GBP

3. Add-Ons & Custom Services
   •    Add-ons must be confirmed at final payment stage. 
   •    Additional charges will apply for:
   •    Wine pairings
   •    Tableware/crockery/cutlery hire
   •    Glassware hire
   •    Additional servers or mixologists
   •    Add-ons will be itemised in your final invoice.

4. Travel Expenses
   •    Mileage is charged at £0.50 per mile, round trip. From your designated chefs base.
   •    For any locations, toll roads, overnight accommodation or ferry fees may be chargeable, which will be discussed in advance.

5. Changes & Cancellations

By the Guest:
   •    More than 14 days before event: we will deduct a 15% admin fee 
   •    7–14 days: Deposit non refundable, payment not necessary.
   •    Less than 7 days: Deposit non-refundable. 50% of outstanding fee is required to cover staffing, menus & produce in place.
   •    Less than 72 hours: Full balance is due, no refunds provided.

By Dine4Guest or the Chef:
   •    In the rare event a Chef is unable to attend due to illness or emergency, Dine4Guest will:
   •    Attempt to provide a replacement chef of similar experience, option to reschedule, or offer a full refund if neither are available.

6. Guest Responsibilities
   •    Provide a clean, functional kitchen with working appliances, running water & adequate lighting.
   •    Inform Dine4Guest of any dietary requirements or allergies at enquiry stage.
   •    Ensure guests do not exceed the agreed headcount without prior approval.
   •    Be respectful to all staff and maintain a safe environment.

7. Damage & Liability
   •    Guests are responsible for any accidental or intentional damage to the Chef’s equipment, hired items
, or property caused by               themselves or their guests.
   •    If hired equipment is broken or missing after the event, the cost of replacement or repair will be invoiced to the Guest.
   •    Dine4Guest accepts no liability for:
         Injuries or accidents occurring on the Guest’s premises
         Allergic reactions where dietary information was not disclosed
         Damage caused by guests or third parties

8. Chef Responsibilities

         We trust our chefs to

   •   Comply with all local regulations applicable to their services (e.g., required food safety certifications or insurance, if mandated in your area).
   •    Confirm all details of the enquiry with guest, arrive punctually and deliver the agreed Services.
   •    Maintain hygiene and professionalism throughout the Event.
   •    Leave the kitchen area clean and tidy.
   •    Adhere to current food safety standards and carry appropriate food hygiene certification.

9. Insurance
       All Chefs are required to carry:
   •   Public liability insurance
   •   Food hygiene certification


        Dine4Guest maintains business liability insurance as a coordinating service.

10. Force Majeure

Dine4Guest is not responsible for cancellations or service failures caused by circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to: 
   •    Extreme weather
   •    Transport issues
   •    Illness or injury
   •    Pandemics
   •    Government restrictions

11. Data Protection & Privacy
   •    Guest data is stored securely and used only to manage bookings and services.
   •    Dine4Guest will not share or sell your information to third parties without consent.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Scotland. Disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the Scottish courts.

to ensure the highest of standard, if you feel this has not been achieved, please do reach out within 24 hours of your event to our email address as soon as possible : dine4guest@gmail.com
